non-ambidextrous safety on sp01

If one wanted to put a Crimson Trace on a SP01, would it be possible to put a non-ambidextrous safety from a regular cz-75b onto a sp01?

I'm left handed, i had Rob at CZ-Custom remove the right side safety on my Shadow so my thumb could fit there.

You could have the same thing done to fit the CT sights
