CZ 82/83 gunsmith??
« on: August 11, 2010, 08:42:52 AM »
I have a fairly nice 82 but it has an issue or two. Is there anyone out there that works on 'em? The problem is that the pistol will not function in DA, but is ok in SA. I won't shoot it like this in case there is more wrong than just this.

Man! That is unfortunate. Next time you are up my way come by the house and we can take it apart and see if we can fix it together. Off the top of my head it sounds like the trigger bar.

+1 Sounds like the trigger bar to me as well. Is the disconnector, part 19, in the up position and locked into the slide when you attempt to fire it in DA? If not, that is a clear indicator it's the trigger bar. http://www.czub.cz/zbrojovka/cz-spare-parts/cz83_r_en.pdf

What part of "shall not be infringed" do you not understand?

I've been to a girlie bar, but never a trigger bar  ;D Jason, thanks for the offer. Actually I'll be up your way next week. I've lost your # (new phone since the "incident"). PM me if you'll have a minute Monday or Tuesday nite.

Thanks

Otto
