Well Ive been looking around for a while for a upgrade to my present Concealed weapon a Keltec p3at. While many will say it just a "get off me gun" it has been on target for me out to 10+ yard. It has never malfunction and I have gave it some kind of torture test and it has always came out ticking. But with a low magazine capacity, lack of sights at night, and the .380's knock down power have had me looking since I started carrying it and guess what i found. A new CZ100B .40 S&W 2007 model. Ive read all the CZ100 post on this forum and have researched the crap out of it on the internet. The DAO trigger isnt all its put down to be and it fits IWB like a baby kangaroo in a pouch. I really see the potential of this pistol for my CCW, I have already order a aftermarket guide rod and 24# springs and contacted Tooltech for a front night sight. The accessory rail has some opitions and I'll see what works best for carry.
I really did my research on conceal carry firearms. They are tons of materials, test and reviews on all aspects of carrying concealed and I read it all. I visited every gunshop and gunshow around just to handle whats out there for conceal carry. My final two picks came down to a Walther PPS and a CZ100. My local gunshop had both new on the shelf and i walked in with a empty holster, ready to compare and leave with one. The CZ100 is about a inch taller and a inch longer and without a set of dial calipers, they seemed the same width. I did not like the mag release on the PPS. The CZ100B felt better in my hand and pointed better and 10+1 is better than 6+1. So all in all it seems like this CZ classic has all I need for a reliable concealable weapon.
