Does anybody here use skate tape (not on the grips) on the front and backstraps of the Combat where the metal is smooth?

I apply and use them on all my competition pistols as well.
I think it's a better way to grip than checkering and if it gets ripped/torn or damaged, just reapply.

I don't believe there is anything specific for the CZs but you can find/purchase the front strap strips from eric wesselman at his website here
It might be a little narrow as it was designed for the 1911 front strap but it should work.

Or you could pick some up at the local skate shop and cut your own.
