That looks like some really nice looking duracoat work.. How bad were they when you started?

The cz 82  I got used from J&G sales shoots great but looked terrible poor finish the 1911 my mom bought it for me when I was 17 in 1977 it just suffered from years of shooting and its satin nickle finish just did not clean up well any more. The used cz 82 is now my favorite carry pistol. I my just get another one and duracoat it as well -for 209.00 plus shipping you ca't go wrong. Buy the way I even glass beaded the grips on the used CZ82 and sprayed them with matte black duracoat-you can still see some nicks and dents in the grips but they are good enough for me .

I got the P-83 Wanad and the Bulgarian Markorov at The same time as the CZ-82 ,about 2 months ago. The P-83 is the most accurate of the three pistols that I bought From J&G sales. The markarov had the best looking finish but came in third on accuracy. Th e heavily used 82 came in 2 on accuarcy -only defect in the pistol was a poorly working mag release. The finsih on the 82 was terrible that why I duracoated it . It become my favorite carry pistol I carry it more than my custom pro-tek. Next week I am duracoating the P-83 and The grips and trigger on my wifes CZ-83. I post pics later. The mararov has blueing that looks like new I am not going do do anything with that pistol at this time , except shoot it.

Ya know Armoredrman I think that I will just have to keep that protek , its an great shooter and I'm still recovering from the cost, also if anyone gets it I think that my 19 year old would want to be first in line.P.S. I will post more pics next week I am duracoating the following firearms this week- charter arms revolver in black and gold,a P83 wanad in tactical browns/greens and armalite  AR180 in am stripe-black/green. The following week I will
be coating a argentine hi power ,a Pa-63 9x18 mak, and a hungarian 32 acp walther clone, Then I am doing a Saiga ak I believe in Russian camo, followed by a smith/wesson 40 cal don't know what model. Then I have 2 used sig to do A 220 and a 225both in tactical colors. I keep the pics coming as the projects are completed.

Now I'm even more convinced that putting this one on my list in the letter to Santa was a good idea. All I need to do is to really try to be a good boy for the next two months. ;D
