VZOR 50 - Harrington replacement firing pin?
« on: December 11, 2010, 10:14:24 AM »
I recently bought a CZ 50 and took it to the range. After 20+ shots it would not discharge any rounds. I took a quick look at the primer and noticed a small dent in it, but that was all.. I stripped the gun and found the firing pin a wee bit too small. It seemed to be worn for a millimeter or so...  (old gun / 1964)..

I'm considering to buy a Harrington replacement firing pin. Does anyone have any experience with this type of aftermarket firing pins? They look nothing like the original "flat" firing pin wich is in the pistol right now.

I have one in mine and it works extemely well; it may require some fitting though.

Okay, thanx.

I'll try to order one. There are some stories among Dutch shooters that it's kinda difficult to order rifle or pistol parts from the US nowadays. >:(
