I have successfully used acetone to strip the painted finish from a CZ82. Disassemble the slide or frame and cover it with acetone in a suitable glass jar or old (no longer used for food) bowl or baking dish. A sealed jar with a metal lid (acetone dissolves many plastics) helps keep the volatile acetone from quickly evaporating away. After soaking the slide or frame for a while (time will vary, depending on the paint) try scrubbing the surface with an old nylon toothbrush.
Acetone worked very well for me removing the original chipped finish on the CZ82 slide, prior to a refinishing operation.
Good luck, whatever process you end up using - and post some pictures!
