High Polish Blue for sale on gunbroker
« on: June 04, 2011, 11:37:08 AM »
Gents there is a high polish blue 75 for sale on gunbroker

NOPE NOT MINE. I live in Ohio, it is in Texas. It is used but in pristine condition.

I have my sights set on a matte stainless and a set of the coco bolo grips as soon as I get pd for a rifle I am selling.

This almost stopped my heart. I'd love to have an honest-to-goodness blued 75 B. They're gorgeous. But the one on GunBroker is disappointing. The seller describes it as "pristine", but his standards are lower than mine. If you look closely at the not-so-hot photos you'll find the kind of scars that result when a gun is dropped on something hard and gritty (like concrete). The seller has a really good rating, but since he won't allow inspection or return, I'll try to keep my heart beating.

If it truly had been pristine, I'd have grabbed it up for $475. As of this moment it hasn't sold and there have been no bids on it.

I agree. Quite a few little nicks here and there. Watched it from the beginning and had it really been in like new condition I also would have been on it.

I have 2 pristine polished blues - OK kind of have. The upper looks so nice on my nickle lower that it always stays that way. The opposite (polished blue nickle upper) looks great. 2nd one had a couple of nicks on the upper and I found it was almost always on my Kadet anyway that i sold the upper on the forum.

Looks wise the polished are my favorites.  Down to 5 CZ's - had to slow the addiction!
When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

Don't post links to auctions. Thanks.
