Newby question
« on: June 09, 2011, 12:09:37 AM »
hey guys, I'm new to this forum and as yet don't have a CZ. I see on one of the gun selling sites Czech police trade ins made in the mid 80's for about 350. Is that a good price , are there problems I should look out for or should I just wait to get my coins together and get a later model. I've heard nothing but great reviews about CZs and hope to have one myself soon. Thanks  Spudwrench

I bought one for about that price, it came with two magazines.  Shots great.  I put an adjustable rear sight on it and I really like shooting it.  It is a "pre-B" and it has it's own issues, but it is a great design and a bargain "shooter" for the price.  George M

I bought one too.  I replaced a few springs (recoil, mainspring, mag springs).  Also had to change out the rear sight as it was shooting low.  I ordered one (#5) from CZ and replaced it myself.  I have a 1992 model and apparently it has the same rear sight as the CZ75B.  I also replaced the grips with some repro waffle ones.  I'm pleased!!
