New Matte Stainless on it's way
« on: June 07, 2011, 06:53:31 PM »
I ordered my new matte stainless from czcustom today, should be here Thursday at latest Friday

My thanks to all that took the time to post pictures in my thread requesting pics, especially "Longshanks".

(the thread is here: http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=40499.0 for posterity)

I ordered the half checkered coco bolo grips and philips stainless screws.

Now it is like Feb 7th or Dec 22nd (or 8th /23rd depending on shipping time)

I think I am done now, nothing else to sell off to finance anymore gun purchases, well nothing that I am willing to part with.

Congrats. I have a feeling, once you shoot it, you'll be thinking.... "It just dont get better than this"
Ive owned many different handguns, but by CZ75SB is my all time favorite.

I actually have 4 others, 2 BD's 1 Compact and a PCR that I gave my wife to shoot.

I don't smoke, drink or chase women, but I do have to go to meetings and stand up and say

"Hi, my name is Dave and I suffer from gunnerhea".  ::)

I looked at a Sig 226 Stainless Steel Elite, and as I said in one of the other posts, it felt like I was holding the fat end of a baseball bat, you have to have hands the size of gorillas to hold one comfortably, but it was a handsome gun and this matte stainless 75 will look just as good.

I had a Marlin Cowboy Limited 45LC that is going to the communist state of California that is funding this pistol.

Congrats Drcook.  You will love the feel of the coco grips. to me it fits like a glove plus the gun is well balanced , very nice especially for smallish hands. My shadow has the standards rubber ones and they feel chunky compared to cocobolo's .

I have the pistol here at the house now, it is superb. Unfortunately, the grips that got shipped were for a Compact/PCR instead of a full size pistol, so I have to wait until Monday to call the folks at CZCustom. The invoice has the correct part nbr, so I suspect somehow the small grips got in the big grips box. Oh well.

So next week once I get the right grips, pics will be forthcoming.
