I was wondering if the black grips is polycoat 97 and the wood grips are the blue finish? Also if anyone had an actual pic of both?

As far as I know, wood grips come on both the polycoat and the shiny blue 97's.  I've never heard of black grips on a 97....

There aren't any stock black grips for the 97B, they are all Walnut.  Some (like mine) do look much darker than others.  If you have seen a picture of one with black grips, it was probably Kev's (CZ75ID) with the blackouts (wood) that Hakan made for it.  A few people have also managed to stretch a Hogue finger-groove grip for a 75B to fit their 97Bs.  If you've seen another kind of black grip on the 97B, please let us know.

Sometimes some of the ones on gunbroker.com are ones that come with black rubber grips.  I always thought the seller must have wanted to keep the wood ones as spares n put some other ones on that fit.

Hmm.  Wonder where they get the black rubber grips.  You can't get them from CZ or other sources.

I was able to use the Hogue grips.  If you go this route, I hope you have big hands.  This gun is already unfriendly to those with smaller hands.  The hogue's will intensify this.

What type of hogue grips are you talking about?  I think I recently read in a post here that the hogue wrap around kind is thinner than the wood kind n require some streching to be put on the 97b.
The ones I saw on gunbroker seemed to be similar to the ones on the P-01.  I thought it was kinda crummy of the sellars to be trying to sell the wood ones seperately for extra $ or not including them at all.  I only saw it a couple or maybe 3 times in the several months that it took me to save the $ for my 97b.

I added Hogue CZ 75B grips to my 97B and I found the grip to actually be noticeably smaller than with the standard wood grips.  You have to place the Hogue in boiling water for about 45 seconds and then work quickly, but it really improves the grip (IMO) for the 97B.  Best $16 (via Natchez) I've spent on my 97B.

I've also replaced the wooden grip panels of my 97B with Hogue wrap around grip ( for CZ75/85 Hogue ). It's true that there's a noticeable change in grip width , it's more flat now but the grip's inside surface interfere with the magazine during release making it tighter as it is. Had to sandpaper/file  the grip's inside surface in order to have some leverage.;)

I did the same thing that HERMO had to do, but as far as the grip being larger/bigger, I feel it is a better griping surface.  As said before it is flatter but a little wider due to the finger grooves.  But not so wide that you can't hold it well.  Besides with the finger grooves I get the same grip hold time and time again which is a good thing.

Shoot fast but don't miss!

I'm still trying to figure it out myself.  Apperantly you have to have a host site on the web or your own website on wich to upload a digital picture from you pc.  You then copy its httpaddress from its properties, come here, start your message, click on "image" to the left, n paste in the httpaddress in the box that comes up. When you click to post your message it automatically links to the image via the address n the image should come up.
Your pic has to remain at the host site in order to keep appearing in your post here if not there would be an x appearing.  Some host sites are supposed to have problems with ezboard n could also cause problems.
Most host sites require some minor fee but there are some free ones too with a lot less options though as I am finding out now:\
