I was running the first 100 rounds through it and got like 2 or 3 FTF's and 2 FTE's. I was shooting Golden Tiger so it wasn't crap ammo. Anything I should check specifically? I love the rifle otherwise but I'm definitely not cool with reliability issues. I'd hate to have to send it back.

100 rounds is not enough to break it in.  Metal on metal wear allows parts to fit better, work better.  If at 300 rounds, it is still doing it then start to worry.

I would suggest, to start:
-Tear down, Clean and relube
-Try different ammo, say 100 rounds of Wolf, then another 100 rounds of Tiger.  Just because one type works poorly does not mean another will do the same.
-Use the other mags, and mark the ones you used today.

My best guess is the VZ 58 gremlin.  You need a tabbed bolt carrier.

Go to this thread and/or direct message ForcedMarch to get your bolt carrier tabbed: http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=61434.0

Searching for VZ58 bolt carrier tabs and/or VZ 58 gremlin will give you all the info -- basically, it's an issue w/ removing the auto trigger components (w/ 2 sears and auto sear reset lever) and converting to semi auto only w/ one sear and no lever.
