I believed the one OP bought made from 6061 T6 aluminum, not polymer.

I cant seem to find it, but it was a video clip of the polymer Fab defense mount if I remember correctly. I saw it a few weeks ago, but I spend so much time online that I have no idea where it was.

That is correct so I was a bit puzzled when derweibhai mentioned that video. My schedule is crammed pack this week but I have some free time next week and will try to see if I can get some range pics/video of it.

Other than I bought a crappy no-name brand made in China red dot that won't hit the broad side of a barn there is no update, it's hard to measure if the scope mount is solid and will keep the red dot zeroed in when the red dot is garbage and don't deserve to be mounted on a water pistol. But I do have a Carl Zeiss red dot on the way that I will arrive next weekend.

But so far the scope mount have been of no issue regarding the functioning of the pistol

Have had a lot of free time on my hands lately so there have been lot's of shooting I got myself a Docter red dot and for the past 1000 rounds the scope mount have performed excellent, no need to re-tighten the screws at all and it have stayed accurate as hell even after removing it several times for cleaning, the red dot must also get its glory since it takes as much beating as the scope mount.

Was at the range today and I allowed myself to have some fun at the end
