P-07 Frame Bulge + Updated Fiber Reinforced Polymer

I read, in another thread, that CZ had developed a new polymer for the P-07 frame & that they were replacing old frames if sent back for the bulge.

I spoke with someone @ the CZ warranty department who told me that they can take a look at it, but even the new model will have a slight bulge.

Has anyone gotten an updated frame and seen an improvement over the old?

They are replacing mine for a mag drop issue, would it be one of these new ones you are describing?

Not sure about the polymer but my replacement(mag drop) came with a captured guide rid and spring. My old one was not captured.

Also it seems to have different checkering on handle.

If it is currently at their shop, I'd suspect so.  When you get it back please report whether or not your have a bulge.  I guess you can be sure it is new if it has a new checkering pattern as per digigdawg's reply.

Will do. Probably be another 3 weeks before I get it.

Here's a link to a photo of my Frame, serial number starts with A99... it was test fired on 11/1/11 of last year so I would believe it's part of the redesign.  The one thing I noticed compared to photos I looked at with the original issue is that you can see the spring is clipped and not fed back into the right side of the frame.  Still a slight bulge on the right side.  (This is after 195 rounds)
