Well I bought a CZ-100 3 weeks ago and got rid of it last  friday and what a relief. This gun is almost perfect except for the trigger pull that is soooooooooooooooooo
long it is totally ridiculous! So  I let it go for almost nothing and bought the best gun on the market a GLOCK.
no offense to you CZ 100 owners but the gun is useless to me and now I am relieved. Hope you all are enjoying your trigger pull on the new gun. Take care all!

Glocks are good guns.   So are CZs.

The 100 isn't my favorite, but its a far better fit for most hands than a comparable Glock.  It clearly wasn't a better fit for you.   The ergonomics are great; the trigger is mediocre.

Did you buy yours without trying the trigger?!

Was just curious of the responses, but I did try the trigger and for some reason it didn't feel that long until i took it to the range and really found out how long it is. I realize cz are good guns, and I love CZ-100 way it feels and looks but the trigger pull so YES I have myself to blame.

I am considering the CZ100.  I have a Ruger KP95D, which is a great, unbelieveably reliable pistol, but it is big and I just don't like SA/DA.  I find myself carrying my wife's SW .38 Centennial and have mastered the DA trigger pull, but I would rather have a higher caliber and more cartridges at my disposal.  Is the CZ100 trigger like a DA revolver's?

Just qualified with my CZ100 for my CFP. All the hits were legit. I came from using a S&W .38 Special, so the trigger pull was not that much of an issue. It is long in the first pull, but that is the idea for safety. The trigger resets about 2/3 of the way back, and with practice, shoots just fine, in my opinion.

You all should really look into a trigger break, I installed one and the results were amazing.  I made mine from some black rubber and I carved it with a scalpel, It looks factory installed, and it works great. It wont do anything for the long trigger pull, but what it does at the break makes up a lot. You get better groups too.

You can also use a hard rubber eraser from an ink pen, glue it to the frame (or the back of the trigger) with "super glue."  and then shave it down with a razor blade until it stops the trigger JUST after the break.  Once you've got it on and working right, use a magic marker to color it so that it matches the rest of the gun.

(First saw this on the Kel-Tec Owner's Group website.  Called the "White Trigger Stop."  It made a world of difference with my P-11, too.)
