Wobbly, did you chrono that load?
I'm curious 'cuz I've been playing with "n340" and the "124 GDHP" at much longer oals.
I'm interested in the n330 results for velocity comparisons with my slower Vit powder.

The sun was setting in Georgia, so I couldn't. But since you're in TX and you've still got light.....

Besides, I had to leave some fun for MO5.   ;D

Will report range findings after today's trip. Loaded as suggested, but some loads vary by +/- .05 gns.

Generally speaking, loads that vary by 0.1gr can't be detected by the shooter. Of course, this load range is a little narrower than most. Never the less, I'd say right off hand that your loading/measuring accuracy is very good (at least as good as I can do), and I would expect solid velocities with a low deviation.

Can't wait to see your numbers.

My numbers are only measured groups from 20  & 30 ft , shooting free hand since I don't have a chrono and not even sure how I could set one up at the indoor range I go to  :(   All rounds functioned 100% and my 5 shot groups where 2.5 to 4 inches. I didn't use my rest since I wanted to see how the performance was because I intend to use these loads for my SD loads. My "feeling" was that the 4.5 gn load had he best "feel" - not very scientific ,but my best choice. All brass had the color as posted and I'm very confident in the load data to go forward. I really appreciate all the help :)

For SD you'll want some really good velocities. Since SD is not about "feel", you might want to pump those up a bit. You may also wish to hunt up some once fired nickel cases and Federal primers to finish them off.

I'm impressed with your off-hand group size.
