My last set of hi caps, which I sold with the gun, had Wolff springs in them.  You can get standard weight springs or 5% or 10% more spring strength.  I ordered the 10% and all of a sudden they accepted 14...sometimes 15 rounds.  They fed smoothly and reliably all of the time.  Thought it was worth mentioning.....more ammo is never a bad thing. ;)

Wouldn't replacing a mag spring be considered as illegal since you're increasing the original capacity?

Not a chance.  Your replacing a worn mag spring that has or will cause malfuntions in your gun.  The fact that your capacity goes up from the replacing of a part that wears is just a plus.  Remember were not talking about a 10 rnd mag here...Its already a Hi Cap, there is no law about the capacity limit on a Pre Ban Hi Cap mag.  Your not altering the physical characteristics of the mag....altering the follower, tube or baseplate........you happen to put a new spring in it and it holds more bullets......
