Hey guys,

Just received the Mako grip.  How do you remove the original grip?   Do I just unscrew the hex nut or is there a special procedure I need to do?  i. e. field strip the rifle.

I gave the screw an initial turn and it seems pretty tough to turn.  Just want to make sure i'm doing it the right way before I really lean into it.

Keep turning it.

You may need to hold the grip nut in place from the inside of the receiver once it gets loose. Field strip the rifle so you can do that.

Fab grip ... super comfortable and it even has a inside space for stuff .
