Finally getting around to picking up a 75 Compact this coming weekend. I found a spur hanmmer and old style thumb safety, found out that standard floorplates fit Compact hicaps, and am still looking for an old style CZ75 slide stop. Of course it won't be a perfect match for an older 75, but it will be close.
Were I filthy rich, I'd buy a pre-B model and have some top-notch gunsmith charge me a fortune to cut down the slide and frame to Compact dimensions. I just prefer pre-B models, but, unfortunately, there is no such animal.

I like all steel but I think the PCR slide is a bit nicer.  I think I'd put the PCR slide on a traditional steel frame. mapdude

Good Topic.

great responses..

 1. titanium or other space age frame material . Looking for 1980s technology polymer..geta Glock or HS-200
XD.

If Taurus can build a Blueish .45 Colt revolver in Titanium..i think CZ could do it also.
Whether it would be rated for +P ammo ..i don't know.

As we are looking at Carry needs..a very user friendly Cee-Zed for all potential buyers.
with features that one hears about all the time here..

2. MMC low profile Adjustable Tritium sights as standard.People want adjustables on their guns
even if they only shoot one load..i don't know why,,but CZ should adress the need.

3. Ambi Controls.  make a Lefty friendly gun.. people shy away if they are left handed,
and feel they can not operate the pistol due to it being set up for right handed persons.
the 85 series gets the nod for adressing this concern.  But more so the CZ75SA. if
you are not stuck on the Slide Stop..as a Slide Release.

4. options for Selective Action or a decocker. Some people are wed to the Single Action..
and byass the PCR because of such. They like the light weight. but won't compromise
their trianing for that advantage.Or in like my case..have health problems or small weak
fingers that dictate the SA mode.

The reason why i prefer Single Action revolvers, too:)

Then i'd consider some match grade parts like the champion sear..if feasible.

. Calibers: 9mm  .40 and Yess to .357 SIG!

Well, just my thoughts.. i also think the CZ75B Semi- Compact is a neat gun..the best
of both worlds.it's unique.

Kev, I don't see the semi-compact listed. Are/have they brought it in?
