Who makes better stuff? Cajun Gun Works or CZcustom?

I think I want to go with CZcustom, but don't know which is considered "better" (if either is actually better or not).

Gotta buy an SA trigger and good hammer.

As far as SA triggers go, I think the CZ Custom Flat Aluminum trigger with adjustable pre and over travel is pretty tough to beat.

As far as hammers go, both companies know what they are doing.  I have a CZCustom Comp hammer on my 75B (along with a TON of other CZC parts) that were not available through CGW until this past year.  CZCustom parts are top notch, and I have absolutely NO regrets about how my gun turned out.  I have only good things to say about my pistol.

That being said, my next pistol will have a CGW hammer.  Not that there is anything wrong with my CZCustom Comp hammer...I just know how picky Schmecky is about products that carry his hame.  I am absolutely confident that his Race Hammer is on par (or even slightly better) than parts from the Custom Shop.

If converting to SAO (as I did), one part that Schmecky offers that is superior to the CZCustom piece is his trigger pin (CGW item TR-PIN).  I had previously installed the CZCustom solid trigger pin, and could never get it installed all the way.  The CGW pin is an absolute dream.

Also, as long as you are installing a new trigger, for an extra $7, put in a CGW reduced power trigger return spring (CGW item RP-TRS).  It slightly reduces the trigger pull (1/2 pound) without any affect on reliability.

We're not doing this here. Both are members of long standing and stellar reputation. Do your own due diligence and decide. There are posts without number concerning the pros and cons of each company/member. In reality, how much difference can there really be in what are, to all intents and purposes, two lumps of metal? Any variation is more likely to be in the fitting of the items by the end user rather than the specs of the piece concerned.
