Hornady 9mm 147 XTP #90282

Bought a box of this lot number #90282.  Every round was bulging in the lower cartridge body. Fired the first round with a failure to extract, eventually got the spent casing out.  Then tried to fit every round in the chamber, not one would chamber properly.  From now on with any CCW weapon I have I will always fit each round first.  the other .40 of Hornady all chambered perfect in my other CCW weapon.  might have been a bad box.  lesson learned always fit your ammo.

Sounds like a very bad box of ammunition.  Call Hornady Customer Service and arrange to send it back.

The #90282 is factory 147gr ammo from Hornady. Usually pretty good stuff.

I'd take a photo and call Hornady customer service tomorrow. You probably get a free box of ammo out of it.
