CZ 97 B magazine pouches??
« on: November 07, 2012, 07:50:56 PM »
I did a search and didn't come up with anything. I need 4 cz 97b magazine pouches, 4 singles or 2 doubles, I don't need fancy billet one's. Does anyone have any they can recommend?

Thanks

The 97b mags are exactly the same size as large frame Tanfoglio mags; Henning sells singles but they're pricey:  http://www.henningshootsguns.com/shop/magpouches.html.   I actually use $6.99 Target Sports Tactical doubles on my CR Speed rig:  http://www.cdnninvestments.com/bepx4rsrdema.html I don't think any of them will work without inserts, but I think the ones you need would be for a HK USP 45.

Galco and Triple K both make leather mag pouches for double-stack .45 magazines. They don't necessarily have to be labeled as CZ97 pouches; all the ones for double-stack .45 that I have tried worked.

For competition I've used Fobus paddle double mag holders for ParaOrd. A little loose for the 97B mags, but with a heat gun it's easy to modify them to hold 97B mags more securely.
The bold type giveth, the fine print taketh away.

Yes, I teased my buddy at our first USPSA match, he paid $120 for four mag pouches and I paid $14!
