Picked up my first cz 75b 9mm yesterday.  Went to the gunshow today and picked up a cz75b .40 cal.  Now I just need to get some more mags.  Looking forward to learning more about these pistols.

Way to jump in with both feet!

Welcome to The CZ Forum.  A range report on both pistols is expected. :)

I, too, am a Texan new to this CZ world. Got my first two pistols in December (CZ83 in .380 and CZ75B 9mm Compact). What part of Texas are you in? I'm near the Houston area.

I'm sorry I broke the rules, but that is just the way us Texans are! LOL I'm in Katy(Houston) and bought a 9mm 75BD a week ago. I've shot it twice at American Shooting Center and have a little over 200 rounds thru. I'm already an addict. It is a sweet gun.

ahhh! my texas brethren.  like the man said many years ago, " to hell with tennessee, i'm going to texas!" hey i shoot at American shoooting centers almost every weekend.  peeps out there who i have let shoot the cz 223 love it! especially when they breath too hard, and that set trigger jumps off.

Anyone else from the Dallas area?
Any poor souls who trespass against us
Whether it be beast or man
Will suffer the bite or be stung dead on sight
By those who inhabit this land

For there's is the power and this is the kingdom
As sure as the sun does burn
So enter this path, but heed these four words,
You shall never return

Hi everyone.  I am also from the great state of Texas (Houston).  I just picked up my first CZ on Friday.  A PCR I found at a local store for $365 NIB.  I took it to the range today and fired 200 rounds with out one problem.  My Taurus PT99 is retired as of today.

Seems to be a lot of Texans visit the CZF. Thats good to see. From Dallas myself. :p  Welcome all, though I haven't been a member long myself. You will find all kinds of useful information about your CZ firearms here.
