Extended safety lever needed
« on: January 30, 2014, 06:04:13 AM »
Only one thing I don't like about my new  P-07, I wish an extended safety lever was available for cocked and locked carry.  The stock safety lever is not quite big enough to ride your thumb on with a thumbs forward grip.

Seems like an aftermarket part opportunity.

Also, single sided safety would be nice.

Other than this, everything else is good to go.

I agree. I thought about ordering a spare and epoxying some extra material to it in the meantime.

I recently made my own by cutting the pad off an old 1911 safety lever and using Devcon Plastic Weld to bond it to the CZ lever. Turned out pretty well and is very robust.

Good job.  I'll have to purchase an extra safety lever and start experimenting some.

That's pretty cool mr Big. Don't quite understand why CZ made the safety unergonomic.
