Well, I've been working a bit more with MagLULA's new 22UpLULA
I noticed that with some Magazines, the previously loaded Centerfire Round was popping / flipping out of the Mag, right back at me
Couldn't figure out what was up with that .... Then it (really) hit me
The length of the Beaks are different between the two Loaders
The 22UpLULA?s Beak measures 0.90" front to tip
Whereas the UpLula-K's Beak is 1.050"
I wouldn't think that 0.150" would make that big a difference
But with a couple Magazines, it does
I would guess it depends on the length of the Feed Lips and the Overall Length of the Rounds being loaded
If the Beak's Tip is located such that less than 50% of the Round is covered by the Beak, and the Feed Lips are short enough, the Round will flip around the Tip of the Beak and out of the Magazine
Just thought I would share what I've discovered
Here's a pic showing the 22UpLULA on the left and an UpLula-K on the right
Note the difference in length of the Loading Beak

And one with the Limiter filed / cut off

Be safe all, Den S
