Torque Values for CZ 452 Military Trainer
« on: May 15, 2013, 09:31:42 PM »
My searches are either too general or too specific; I'm sure the data is out there somewhere.  Can anyone point me to the torque values for the different screws on the 452 Military Trainer?  I would like to adjust the trigger and I want to be sure I put it back together properly.

I've also got a 527 in. 204 Ruger that I'll want to disable sometime, so if anyone knows where to find those values it would be helpful.

Thanks in advance,
Andrew

The consensus, and practical experience has shown that each gun is slightly different.  I'll leave the reasons why for another thread or others to follow up on.  What you are going to have to do is start at a low value on the screws, say 10in/ls and work up in 2in/lb increments until you pass the 'sweet spot'  Then loosen the screws and set them at the proper weight.  There are no shortcuts!  PERIOD!  If you wnat exact torques for your gun the above method is it.  imo

Thanks.  I needed at least a starting point.  10 it is.  I don't mind working my way to the best value for each rifle.  Now I just need to get enough of one batch of ammo that I can test and only have one variable going at a time.

Thanks again,
Andrew

PS.  It looks like Viking and I were writing at the same tine.  Thank you for the link.
