ATF finally announced the new "stabilizing brace" rule has been signed. This "rule" will require anyone with a pistol equipped with a "stabilizing brace" to register it via a special form 1, tax free, within 120 days of the rule being published. The rule has just been signed today, the 13th, (Friday the 13th, how appropriate), but not yet published, which starts the count down.

I heard in an radio interview yesterday that Rep Andrew Clyde (Georgia 9th) has written legislation to be introduced May 23, 2023 to clear up all the "Brace mess".

You'll remember that Clyde owns a gun store, Clyde Armory, in NE Georgia which was raided by Obama's weaponized ATF. He took the ATF to court and won. Then used those winnings to finance a run for US Congress, which he won with over-whelming margins (80+%) and where he is now the "local expert" on gun laws and gun sales. I'm sure the proposed legislation will be favorable to owners and a complete slap-down to the ATF.

You may also remember his campaign placards, which now cover the entire district...
