Here are the features that set the Kadet kit apart from the rest, in my opinion:
1. Barrel fixed to the slide body and sights, barrel fit not an issue. Very accurate.
2. Steel construction, but with a light "slide".
3. Weight same as the centerfire gun.
4. Excellent heavy duty magazines.
I shoot this kit a bunch, like 1-2k rounds/month. It is built like a real firearm, not as an aluminum plinker with crummy magazines and poor barrel fit.
I shot this target today, with the wind blowing 15-25 mph, gusty. Still I was able to shoot this group on the 2" tape at 31 yards, using only a forearm rest because of the wind.

The two rounds off the tape? Me. Not the gun. Me.
