Hi all!  I've had my 40B for almost a year now.  Bought it used in town here in SE Idaho in the case with papers and two mags.  So far, about 500 rounds through.  Only problems so far is base of one magazine that popped off, the other is my finger getting pinched occasionally by the trigger.  Grip change is in the works if I can find the right piece of walnut.
This piece would be just about perfect if my hand were a bit bigger.  I have yet to have any stovepipes, or any other problems that I've had using 1911's, which pretty much sold me on this one.
Enjoy reading your posts, tips, and experiences!

Hello and welcome! Always good to see new additions to the forum. You say you only have 500 rnds thru your 40B in a year? That's about 2 trips to the range for me. If I were to guess, I would say I have approx 3000 thru mine in the 6mos. I've had it. It's a good shooter. Most ppl on here are pretty helpful if you decide to shoot that thing more often and have any questions. Welcome again, rocdoc!:rollin

Welcome to the forum, RocketDr!

Give CZ-USA a call at 1-800-955-4486 and have them send you a replacement floorplate for the magazine.

Thanks for the Welcome!
I try to split range time between a LOT of different things.  A typical day at the sandpit will have me doing load development or practicing mostly with rifles.  I'm for the most part a wheelgunner, and the list of autos I've owned, other than rimfires, is short, and only includes a couple of 1911's, Browning HP's, and one POS Ruger P85, that, like a booger on my finger, I just can't seem to get rid of....500 rounds (cumulative) is a short day!
Thanks for the tip about the mag base, I'll get hold of them and get this taken care of!
