CZ 452 Ultra Lux scarcity

Hi Guys,

What is driving the total abscence on the Ultra Lux?  Is this just another symptom of Sandyhook/Obama relection/Gun  ban talk 'perfect storm' that hit the shooting world or something else?  Please let me know!

Pan, the 452 line started getting scarce when CZ introduced the 455 line of interchangeable barrel firearms. I picked up a 452 Full Stock 22lr a few months before the intro of the 455's. According to the CZ website, they have limited quantities available. I picked up a 452 17 HMR Trainer earlier this year and had to wait about 4 weeks for delivery to FFL. The 452 rifles are out there, one has to patient and diligent to find one and you might find a bargain. Once you find your CZ rifle you are going to enjoy shooting it.

Yes, I did manage to scoop up a trainer - thanks to a great guy from this forum.  My heart is set on that gorgeous Ultra Lux, too, though.  So long as they are in production, it's fine with me.  I can wait till next Spring (or the one after that, Heaven forbid!) if I must, I'm just terribly worried this gun is going the way of the Lux.

Mail ordered an Ultra from precise shooter last week. Should be at my local FFL today. I think he has some more of them and the trainers.
