Looking at Canik (TriStar), I came across the T-100 also.  How does everyone feel that compares to the C-100?

Is it basically the same thing with Jericho looks?

Yup.  Except the front sight is almost non replaceable without more than a little custom work including drilling it out, milling a new cut and then refinishing the slide.

Still a great gun though.

I don't have one, but that's how it appears to me.  Davidson's has the black version on sale right now.  It's about $395 from my LGS, but it will be a little different for you.  That price includes shipping, transfer, tax, everything.

The good thing about buying from Davidson's is that the pistol comes with a lifetime replacement warranty.  That should assuage most of your warranty fears.

I have a T-100. I bought it because I wanted a C-100 but Academy was tapped out the day I went and had the T-100. The specifications shown in many sources show the T-100 to have shorter barrel and more capacity. False. They are essentially identical in feel. Ergonomics on both are terrific....makes sense...same grip shape, trigger reach, sights etc. they do look different due to that "Jerico" look on the T-100. I am ambivalent...but the T-100 attracts more comments...all positive. I have around 500 rounds through mine and aside from a rear sight that was easily seen to be way off center (easily tapped over) it is a great shooter
Have you ever seen a statue honoring someone who left well enough alone?

Yeah, gotta love GoG.  I guess Bud's is doing the same now, but with Bud's-like prices.

Yeah. That's what I was thinking. I like them both, but the classic CZ/Hi-Power-style slide/muzzle really appeals to me more.  I think I'm right on the edge with these Caniks. I still kinda like that CZ name, but these seem like great guns at affordable prices.

italianbreadman, another thing to keep in mind is that CZ and Canik tend to have small dots on their sights.  Witness and SAR tend to have larger dots.  The size of the dots does make a difference for my getting older eyes.

Ah, thanks for the tip. Dots are interesting to me, though. I feel like I don't even use them. I focus more on the top edge of the front blade than anything else. I even kinda like 1911-style sights.
