Thanks Stuart!  I didn't think the "First Sanctioned Match Jitters" would hit me so hard, but they did. I thought my heart might explode!  Had a few PE's and tanked a few stages, but all in all it was a great experience.   CASA was an awesome range with wonderful people.  I got to meet Matt Mink, and he gave me some CZ apparel!

To be the best I can be.  And I believe that I can be one of the top shooters in the world if I hone my skills and maintain a positive attitude and an open mind when it comes to shooting.  I feel that I have natural talent and if I add dedicated practice I know I will achieve my goals.  Master in SSP and A class in Production by next December.

Have only one classifier in Production.  El Presidente: 7.4405 HF = 72.5%, so a high B

I really need to get a dry and live fire practice regimen going, but I am a bit timid to do it solo because I don't want to set bad habits.  I do believe I have a natural "feel" for shooting and working the gun, but I really don't want to spoil it.

Video the dry fire practice.  Got a cell phone? --set it up for video.   Transitions, trigger pull, front site .

PM'd a link to ALL the USPSA targets scaled down in size for a  9' distance.  Includes basic metric Sil. , IPSC &  various armored, plates, popper +
IF the link works :-\---it's a PDF--Printable on 8.5x11 paper

I think the access link works if these are helpful.  Computers should have colored wooden beads that slide by hand to prevent future shock for old guys. :-[

In this area, there are at least Two GM shooters and a Master that offer Beginner, to Advanced competition shooting training..  It costs some bucks, but for you it might be a good way to go if similar is available in your area..
Ted Bonnet offers that here.  I'm too old to benefit much as I only shoot locally mostly with folks I've known for a long time.
He actually does quite a bit of FREE training in his weekly matches.  I rarely miss one.
