Just purchased another ZG47 3006. It is stamped 62 on the action and barrel. It also has a K on the trigger guard and bottom of the barrel. I did not think they still made the ZG in 1962. Anyone know the year they stopped their production?

My understanding is that they were made from 1949 to 1963, the majority of production being from 1956 onward.

A good shot at close range beats a 'hit' at a longer range.
