I dropped my CZ 75B Compact off today to be Cerakoted
« on: September 03, 2013, 04:33:07 PM »
My CZ 75B Compact is at a local gun manufacturer here in Boise. After looking at many, many examples online, I decided to do the frame and slide in Burnt Bronze Cerakote. The controls will be left black. I already have the hyena brown VZ grips. I dropped it off today, and should see it in a week to 10 days. They are also installing Meprolight night sights on it as well. I'll post some pics once it is done.

I am very excited to get it back. I saw this picture of a SP01 Shadow done in burnt bronze and that sealed the deal for me. It looks awesome.

Here is the pic-

There's still time to change the order and get a truly outstanding pistol finish:

You made the absolute best choice.  That's the exact same color scheme I dream of when I dream of color schemes.

Burnt Bronze with black controls is close to the ideal finish.  I dream of Burnt Bronze frame, Blue Titanium slide, and black controls.  Pictures of finished guns far outshine the Cerakote color chips.

Cerakote Burnt Bronze ?

Cerakote Blue Titanium ?

Originally, I was thinking about doing mine in flat dark earth, but I've already got two other guns in that color scheme. Then I considered titanium. I came across a picture thread with tons of pictures of guns in burnt bronze, and I loved the look of it. I think it will look awesome. One more week, and it will be done! Can't wait.
