CZ 912 Firing Pin not hitting primer hard no ignition HELP
« on: October 17, 2013, 07:21:35 PM »
I have a brand new (won in an auction) CZ 912 shotgun.  I took it out yesterday after a year in the safe.  I went pheasant hunting and hit the first bird with the first shot out of this gun.  I was like, I love this gun.  Second shot, I heard the click and the shell did not ignite.  I went on to look at the shell and the firing pin did hit the primer but without any ignition.  I tried 5 more shells, 2 of them worked, the other three did not work.  I went home and took the gun apart, everything looks great and clean. The springs in the firing pin and trigger assembly are all good.  Has anyone had this problem?  The firing pin is not coming our far enough or hard enough to his the primer to ignition.  Do they make an extended firing pin?  doesn't look like the firing pin is adjustable to me.  Any information any one has would be great.  I love the gun, but it doesn't work!  I have emailed CZ three times with no response.  I guess I need to call them but wanted to see if anyone knows that this is a known problem with the CZ shotguns.  Thanks..>Troy Minnesota.
