Tactical Sport Magazines.
« on: October 01, 2013, 08:41:01 AM »
I've been looking at picking up one of these CZ-75 Tactical Sports pistols in .40 S&W, but I was not sure if they use the same magazines as the regular CZ-75 pistols, or are they proprietary magazines? What's the typical street price for the pistol and the mags?

Mags are different.  Wider.  $45-$55 for mags.  I picked up a used 9mm for $850, but they are going up anywhere to $1200-$1300 new these days.

I've also been looking to pick up a tactical sport in .40.  The magazine is not the same as the 75.  The frame is bigger on the TS then the 75 or SP-01 to the mag are NOT interchangeable.  Base price for the pistol is about $1200.  If you get one from the custom shop, they can go up to $2400.

People are putting an SP01 mag-release in their TS/Checkmate 9mm & using SP01 9mm mags.
