sar b6p compact
« on: April 13, 2014, 09:01:35 AM »
I'm interested in this pistol, but in my home state of NY the 13 rd magazine is considered despicably evil, and i am limited to a 10 rd magazine (but must only load up to 7 rounds total :o)   :o Any suggestions for alternative magazines that will work and not stick out too much as I would like to carry this pistol if I purchase it.  I emailed eaa and asked about the witness mags but they responded that they don't sell anything that fits the sar.
Thanks

Email Task Firearms, who currently imports the SAR Arms line and ask them about it. http://www.taskfirearms.com/Products/Handguns/

I'm thinking that the 10 round magazines for the compact polymer Witness should work.

I cannot even have it in my possession to modify.  I believe that even if modified it is still illegal.

You may have to engage an outside Gunsmithing Firm to buy and modify the Magazines for you.

Small frame witness compact hicap mags work so I don't see why the ten rounders wouldn't work too. Here's more info on witness mags. Go to the last post. http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=62378.0 I have the sar compact and I have a witness compact promag that fits perfectly and it is a ten rounder.  The promag is discontinued and hard to find.

The CZ75 compact magazine (10 rounds) will fit the b6p compact! There's YouTube videos of a guy using it, plus other forums have people confirming it as well. I personally have not tried this, but just spreading the knowledge :D

They fit but are longer than sar compact mags so there is a substantial gap.
