Don't get me wrong,  I love checkering as well.  But I'm a woodworker by trade,  and when I see wood grips all checkered up like that it makes me twitch.

If it sounds too good to be true, you should probably just shoot it.

Yeah it leaves me conflicted as well. But what are you gonna do?

ok i finally got my hands on some silver aluminum grips.  I also ordered an extended slide release but it needs to be matted with a bead blast to match the finish of the other controls.   All in all I am very very happy with how the gun shoots and how the grips look.

ill take some better pictures later. this was all i had on my phone while i was thinking about making a post here at work.

The description of the trigger sounds really nice.  The rest just isn't my cup of tea.  I'll take a black polycoat with wrap around Hogue fingergrooves.  But I know a lot of folks wouldn't agree.  That's cool.  It's great that tastes vary so much, I do appreciate the variety.  Enjoy.

The contrast of the aluminum grips on the gloss blue is striking. I think I'll put a set on my black poly coat, but just the grips. Everything else will remain black. Of course, I say that...until I visit the Marschal site one more time. Dang! This is a tough call.

The owner of this NIB Glossy Blue 97B asked me to post a pic of this CZ.

Everytime I think of something to say I think, "should I start my own thread" BUT...

I'd love to have a nice 9mm blued like the one that started this thread!

Is it possible to strip a SP-01 and get a finish like that?
