I don't have to go deep to know that I want every gun, unlimited ammo and time to shoot them.

BUT

I also know Xmas is coming, I should be getting a whopper of a bill from the hospital any day, and my vet bill for the last month could choke a horse.


Then there is the "room in the safe" dilemma:  who gets sold to make space ...... ?


As bad as I want a VZ58 I just passed on a CZ Amarillo If I didn't get that what chance does a VZ have. (Amarillo is a long discontinued shotgun model, 12g, 20" dbl barrel side-by-side, with interchangeable chokes)(this was likely a bad decision)

These would have to be pretty crappy at that price to be a bad deal.....wouldn't they???
let me re-phrase...how crappy would these have to be for this to be a bad deal at five bills? When is it a case of them doin some stealin rather than dealin?

My guess is Century is no longer making these so AIM bought their entire remaining stock at a good deal.

I think it's mainly just prices coming back to normal. I know these came with five mags. But $500 is well within or at the price range these guns sold for before the panic a year ago.

Also, just an FYI. But Century doesn't make these guns. Since these builds are rated as "difficult". The monkeys contracted these builds out to a different company. Which is the reason (as the general consensus goes) that these guns are better and less problematic  than pretty much anything Century has ever sold.

Still quite available at four other distributors, albeit at considerably higher prices.  Sometimes a distributor or other seller will discount known popular merchandise to get some cash flow going or discount slower moving merchandise to get it out of stock in order  to discontinue carrying it.  What ever AIM's motives are in putting Vz2008's on sale, it's nice that some shooters will have gotten an opportunity to try out the Vz58 style platform at a more reasonable price.

The reason I say this is that they are not only selling th rifle but everything with it. All accessories you could get for the rifle at a steep discount. Seems like a blow out to me.

They are back in stock at AIM as of today 12/4/13.
Earlier today got an email saying they were back in stock, and I didn't delay this time.
