SAR K2P Grip
« on: April 08, 2014, 10:17:53 AM »

The hard poly grip of the K2P left a lot to be desired, so I invested a little time and about $2 worth of GunTape. I'm really pleased with the result.  Since I've used GunTape on other pistols, I was certain this would improve the feel and stability of the grip, and it did. I wasn't really expecting it, but I think it's a significant improvement in the appearance as well. Never did like that busy pattern on the grip.

Very very Nice!  8)  Excellent detail work!  :)

I went the Hogue Handall route.  I like the palm swell and the finger grooves.

Good job with the gun tape, very nice. I like the stuff as well, been meaning to use some on one of my witnesses.

Thank you both for the kind words. I really enjoy playing with guntape. To date I think my best effort has been on my G26. I guess the Glock being so homely to to start, helped to make that possible. ;D

Yeah, nice work on the g26. Only problem I see is that it's a glock. Lol

Very nice work with the tape. I find the polymer pistols can stand a bit more girth.
