A good set of CZ pistols for Bullseye

I shot all of our local 2014 bullseye season with a Ruger 22/45 or a Kadet for rimfire and a P-09 for centerfire.  This combination worked well for me.  I switched from the Ruger to the Kadet for the last three monthly matches of the year.  For 2015, I ordered a CZ-97 from CGW and have put a few rounds through it so far this week, with excellent results.  The ergonomics are very similar for these two pistols, and the trigger pull weights and crispness are nearly identical.  The .45 just feels like a heavy Kadet!  And the holes are bigger. 



I will have to shake down the new 97 and the new HD-Micro sight on the Kadet, but I think this will be the setup for me this year.

Looking good!  The only Bullseye shooting I do is rimfire BE at an indoor range at 50' in the winter.  Marvel Unit 1 on top of one of my 1911 frames does it for me.  I haven't shot centerfire BE yet.  One of these days.

I don't think I could handle indoor BE with a centerfire gun. 

I replaced the ejector in the Kadet last night and got to shoot it today with the new Ultradot Micro this morning briefly.  Gosh, I love that 22.  Haven't shot it in a month due to the broken ejector.  New sight zeroed in 10 rounds, so I went to 50 yards and shot a good target, then 25 timed and rapid with excellent results.   Had to finish up and move out of the way of a CHL class so only got to shoot a little, and that was hurried.  Had to clean the contacts and the battery in the new Ultradot and also need to clean the magazines in the Kadet.  Gun ran fine otherwise.  Will fix the magazines tonight, check the ejector for rubs/contact, get some spare 1620 batteries, and go back on Sunday morning for some realy practice with both guns. 

This is fun.  This is not easy.
