P09 Recoil Rod Screw
« on: April 09, 2014, 02:37:51 PM »
After the last two times to the range with my P09, I have discovered the screw on the Recoil Spring Rod had started to back out.  I have been able to tighten it back up, but it continues to come loose.
Has any one had this problem?  I am thinking about loosing the screw a put some lock tight on it.

Sure, you can put a little blue loctite on it.  I broke one, and didn't replace it.  It only matters if you want it captured.  I don't have them installed on either of my P-09s any longer.

Not a screw just a plug you don't need it.  You can loctite it.  I went with a white sound defense glock19 rod much nicer
