CZ P-07 Duty with Safety = SA only?
« on: April 06, 2014, 10:40:05 PM »
I own a CZ 75 P-07 Duty .40cal that I've installed the safety on instead of a decocker.
However, now it is SA only and only when it gets dirty it will DA and SA. Is this normal? couldn't find any threads by searching or googling (got a lot of reviews though, neat).

Here's a picture of the suspect

Nope, not normal.  Is your trigger return spring broken?  If you push the trigger forward yourself with the hammer down all the way will it reset and go in to double action?

No it will not. Only on very random attempts. I can pull the trigger 10 times and 1 out of 10 will be DA. Other times 3 out of 10.

Upon further inspection. The trigger bar spring is M.I.A. Well I should've purchased this gun new and not used... previous owner did managed to mess up a lot... (one of the mess is the orange base plate... any know where to get factory P-07 one?)

Alright! Got the new trigger bar spring from CZ today and installed it. Works like a charm now!

I guess it's time to write up a little post about this gun and its rehabilitation process after its previous ownership
