Shooting Report - Century VZ-2008

Gents: I'm very, very pleased with the range visit today: All rounds went "boom"; started at 25 yards, all 30 in a 4.5 inch radius from a rest. Went out to 100 yards and the group expanded to 9-10 inches and slightly to the right of the aim point, so I'll need to do a slight windage adjustment. I was shooting Wolf steel case HP, which, for some reason, is always more accurate for me than their plain FMJ stuff. I also have a bolt action Remington 799 in 7.62X39 that likes the HP better as well. All of the guys at the range loved the VZ rifle and wanted to fondle it - even the AK lovers were impressed with the Century build. All and all, I'd say this is a real steal/deal at 499!! Good to hear its working well for you. I think the VZ2008 will be next on my list along with another AK. So far I like what I hear about the Century line. It might be somewhat of a crap shoot at getting a good one, but companys don't stay in business generally by building crap. Hopefully they have turned the corner.

Glad you had a good day at the Range with your Vz2008!    Yes, the Vz2008 does tend to be a crowd pleaser at the Ranges!
