CZ 75 mag adapter

I need advice on these mag adapters

Has anyone use one of these adapters on the 16 rds?

MecGar states that the plus 2 adapter does not work with the CZ 16 round mags. From the looks of the picture I believe the slots for the rails on the mag body are set too low in the base for these mags. The material above the slots will hold the mag away from the mag latch. If this is the case the base could be thinned a bit so it would latch. This may weaken it too much however causing the remaining material to break off.

I can vouch for the fact they do NOT work on the 16 round mags.  It won't go far enough in to lock up.
Same with a factory and Elander Witness 16 round mag.

It seems to be a very small amount one would have to remove from the top of the +2 base in order to make it work, but I haven't tried it yet.
