Removing a 83 .380 barrel
« on: May 02, 2014, 01:09:41 PM »
Do these come off at all?
Is it something a competent 'smith can handle?
Anyone know the outside diameter off hand?

Thanks

Yes.
Yes.
You may want to search the forum a bit. I remember seeing a few threads before where people have had to change barrels because they've bulged the original. It is definitely possible

The barrel is pinned in place and is a press fit. It generally takes tools that the average Joe doesn't have. A "good" gunsmith should easily handle it.
