PCR not enough gun for a newbie?
« on: March 02, 2003, 10:01:17 AM »
Hello to everyone.  A quick question.  I am brand new to the world of handguns and I have a concern.  Is the PCR enough gun for a newbie to control?  Would the PCR be a good first gun?  I have read that maybe a full size semi auto has longer sight picture which may make it easier to aim.  Any truth to this?  I will not be carrying this pistol but I love the way this gun looks.  Haven't handled one yet but plan too.  I shot my friends 75bd and I like it but something tells me I am gonna love a PCR!
Would you not give this gun to a newbie?

My 10 year old daughter shoots my PCR and LOVES it !!!!

Actually.... nobody who has shot my PCR DIDN'T love it !!!!  :)

I think you would be just fine with the PCR. It recoils only slightly more than the full size, and is every bit as accurate. It does have a slightly shorter sight radius, but I haven't found that to be an issue with this gun.

Since you have a friend with a BD then I'd get the PCR and you guys and "switch off" at the range. :eek

I'd bet before long your buddy gets a PCR too.:smokin

Sight radius....schmite radius! :smokin   Youll be just fine with the PCR.  9mm's arent the worst recoiling round around :rolleyes   Youll love the feel and the way it shoots...after all its a PCR...right? ;)
