Ruger 10/22 project
« on: June 30, 2014, 08:19:55 PM »
so I bought a standard ruger 10/22 with wood stock. I removed the stock and added the butler creek black synthetic folding stock. along with it are Williams fire sights. pro mag see through rail, and a truglow red/green dot sight. and it looked pretty cool. lately though ive been wondering what it would look like in OD green. since this was the closest my hardware store had to offer. this was my weekend project.

Looks like it came out great! I like the two-tone effect with the black. How does it shoot? I have a few rimfires but my goto .22 is an old reliable Nylon 66. I call it Dogslayer.

After you carry one for 40 years it just isn't right to call it 'Gun'.
