PCR/Glock 19 comparison

hey guys,  I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with both of these weapons and has any comments on how they compare with one another. thanks

I had a G19 and now have the PCR (and a G26).  I sold the G19 (in a weak moment) to buy the G26 which is easier to conceal in durring the summer.  The PCR and G19 are about the same size (the PCR fits in my G19 Kydex holster just fine).  The G19 is a little lighter in weight and is little more comfortable for CCW than the PCR. They are both reliable, IMHO, easy to control and are very accurate (although I tend to shoot better with the PCR).  My wife likes the decocker and loaded chamber indicator on the PCR, she just feels more comfortable with it.  It all depends on what you are looking for, CCW, home defense, or fun at the range.  Either one would be a fine addition to the collection.  I was cleaning the PCR last night after a range session and realized that the trigger on the PCR is now silky smooth after about 900 rnds through it.  My wife shoots the PCR and I shoot the G26, so it's been a while since she let me shoot the PCR   I now like the PCR trigger much better than my Glock!

I havent owned a 19 but Ive shot one.  I do own a PCR..in fact, look up....thats it   Anyway, you're really comparing completely different guns.  The PCR is favored over the Glock in general because of the more natural grip feel/angle. I also like the PCR trigger better to.  Both are stellar guns, just different.  Both are accurate, dependable and have good sights.  Thats about it...

Hello, my name is John and I am a Glockaholic (recovered).  At one time I was a slave to that Black Plastic Demon and was feeding seven of the demons spawn.  Luckily, about two years ago at a gun show an agent of the light (disguised as a gun dealer) offered me a CZ 75B at an extremely reasonable price.  I took that 75 to the range once and bought a second 75B two weeks later.  Now two years later, I am happy to report that I have added a PCR, a 97B and a Kadet conversion to the family and reduced the number of Black Demons to four.

Seriously, the Glock is a fine weapon and I carried a 19 for years, but they have no soul.  (Seen one, seen them all.)  Today I prefer to nourish my soul with wood and steel, not plastic and stamped parts.

I have both and I like them both about the same. I don't think you can go wrong with either. The G19 is easier to accesorize and also easier to get parts for. But I couldn't decide which one, so I bought both.  You never know when the stuff may hit the fan and I want to be well armed!

I've shot a glock, but don't know if it was a 19 or 17. Also, my friend lets me shoot (until I give up on it) his glock in sig 357, it's probably a model 30-something. It recoils something awful.
For the life of me I can't see how something which is obviously more inexpensive to construct would cost twice as much as the CZ, but that's not the discussion I suppose.
My hybrid pcr is much more pretty, and has features which I believe make it nicer. Loaded chamber indicator, decocker, hammer (so you can see what's going on). The rubber grips and serrated backstraps make the hand feel outstanding.
The trigger on my gun is actually ergonomically shaped, it's much curvier and more confortable than my cz75b trigger. It's not slippery, it's polycoated like the frame. Excellent.
I much prefer the single action trigger feel to the Glocks.
The finish on my pcr is also outstanding.
I would buy something which has beauty, character, accuracy, extra features, ergonomics, safety, isn't owned by everyone including gangsters, and costs less. My two cents.
