As some of you know I have a EAA compact Witness pistol in 40S&W. Shortly after my purchase, I figured out why I got such a good deal --
the sights were BBBBAAAAADDDD and the pistol shoots too low with the OE fixed rear sight the pistol originally came with. (See the picture I posted below.)
The pistol came with a couple of extra LPA TPU95TA adjustable rear sights. But neither was anywhere near the correct height. The OE rear sight is about 0.405" overall height, whereas the *maximum* height on the TPU95TA adjustable is 0.315"! On a whim, I purchased one of LPA's TR90TA adjustable rear sights -- What a difference: The *minimum* height of the TR90TA is about 0.405" overall, which matches my current fixed sight which shoots too low. Given the generous adjustment on the TR90TA, I should finally be able to correct the errant sight picture on my pistol.
Bottom line, if you're ordering LPA sights for your EAA Witness, make sure you order the correct one.
